My family and I are busy getting ready for our move to the "Loveliest City on the Plains," but first we have something even more lovely to get ready for - the birth of our second child. If all goes as planned, John Franklin "Jack" will arrive on Tuesday. This weekend I'm busy getting last minute things ready like cooking and freezing Four-Cheese Stuffed Shells and Chicken Tetrazzini and washing tiny outfits.
This pregnancy has been so different from Amelia. She was such an easy pregnancy that I was surprised by her difficult delivery and then our mutual troubles with nursing. Not that Jack has been a hard pregnancy, but he has been very different. I'm hopeful that this time around I'll be better prepared for the delivery and more relaxed about nursing. Mainly I am praying for a happy, healthy baby. These are the times when I wish that I weren't such a worrier!
